The advantage of solar energy is that it is readily available to anyone who wants to use it. This is because the materials needed to build it are very easy to find, unlike hydroelectric dams and windmills. There are many hobby shops that cater to those who wish to buy their own solar panel. You can also look this up in the internet but be careful. The Internet is not a safe place to buy things, such as solar panel equipment. There are many scammers lurking to fool you into buying one so be careful. You really don’t want to waste your money.

The only disadvantage with solar heat is that there are certain appliances that do not function normally with solar panels. It may be able to light up your house but there is a certain limit of the number of appliances that you can use. You might want to check it out before you get a solar panel. But nevertheless, solar heat is a great source of energy for you if you are planning to cut down your electric bills.
