Solar Pool Heating

A great way to heat your outdoor pool is by using solar pool heating. This type of heating is great for the environment and will also cut down the cost of heating your pool by thousands of dollars each year.

It will generally cost you about one hundred dollars to install, but you will save that much money in the first year that you open your pool. Solar pool heating uses the suns natural heat to heat the water in the pool. It also uses the existing pump that currently have installed.

The key to solar pool heating is to keep a solar pool cover on your pool when it is not in use. This will also cut down on the emissions that are released into the air when it is not covered. The water from the pool is then pumped into pipes that are connected to solar tubes that are generally placed onto the roof your home. These are called solar tubes. They are the elements that heats the water. The pump then pumps the water back into the pool. This will create a warm pool for your family to enjoy even on the coolest of nights.
This type of heating system can also be used to cool the pool if it gets to hot. The same system can be used. The temperature would just be changed so that the pumps runs the water through at night so that the water cools instead of heating. This can be obtained by putting a temperature regulator into the system. That way you can have the water at the right temperature all the time. You will not have to worry about doing it manually all of the time. A regulator does it automatically.

So install solar pool heating and enjoy your pool all the time and help the environment out a little along the way!
